The Festival of Lights has a rich history in Belgrade that we cherish. Since its founding in 1996 by the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, the event has blossomed, under the leadership of the Belgrade Community Coalition. Together, with our partners and sponsors, we proudly continue the tradition of celebrating our unique holiday spirit through a variety of engaging events and programs. SCHEDULE AT A GLANCE
Tuesday, November 25
6:00pm - Flip the Switch Night: Help us celebrate the first night of the Holiday Light Park at the Senior Center as we count down to “Flipping the Switch” and lighting up the park for the season. This will be a relaxed, low-key evening to enjoy the sparkle of the holidays. The fun continues with our big holiday celebration, the Holiday Hoopla, happening on December 13th in downtown Belgrade!

Saturday, December 13
9:00am - 3:00pm | Belgrade Holiday Market: Shop till you drop at the Belgrade Holiday Market with over 100 local vendors. If you are interested in being a vendor, please email belgradeholidaymarket@gmail.com.

10:00am | Jingle Jog 5K: This fun 5K is open to runners, walkers, strollers, skippers, and hoppers of all ages and everyone is encouraged to wear your festive gear because you’ll automatically be entered into the GET UGLY Christmas Outfit contest after the race.

5:00-7:30pm | Holiday Hoopla: Bring your family and meet your friends and neighbors for a hometown holiday celebration as you meander down Main Street visiting downtown businesses, checking out local vendors and organizations, and listening to the sounds of the season.

Thursday, December 18
6:00pm | Memorial Lights Night: Honor the memory of your loved ones this holiday season at the Light Park for a special memorial ceremony.
