Mark your calendar for May 2-3, 2024, the 10th annual Give Big Event! Give Big is a 24-hour celebration of giving to connect generous community members with causes they care about to raise funds for nonprofits in the Gallatin Valley. It is also one of the Belgrade Community Coalition’s biggest fundraisers of the year and we are asking anyone who loves and appreciates the work the BCC does for Belgrade to help us reach our largest Give Big goal yet: $15,000.

There are multiple ways to get involved and we invite you to choose at least one:
 

• Have a mini fundraiser for the BCC. If you’ve ever seen or done a birthday fundraiser on Facebook, this is the same idea. You set a goal for the amount of money you would like to raise for the BCC, we provide you your own fundraising page to share via social media, email, or through conversations with people you know, and we get to celebrate together when the goal is met!
   

• Become a Matching Donor. This is a great option for people who want to make their donation go further. You set a donation amount and we’ll encourage other supporters, as a whole, to give the same amount. The result is the original donation amount you set becomes doubled. For example, if you set up a matching donation of $1000, we will ask other donors to match that same amount equalling a total of $2000. This is a great option for individuals who would like to make a large donation or businesses who would like to get some advertising for their giving.
   

• Donate on May 2-3 during Give Big. Anytime between 6 pm on Thursday, May 2 to 6 pm on Friday, May 3, you will have the opportunity to donate to the BCC, and other nonprofits participating in Give Big, online or at the Belgrade Give Big Fest on May 2. More on this in April’s Belgrade Boost!
   

• Work Perks - use your employers perks. Does your employer participate in matching donations for their employees? This would be a good time to find out! If they do, your individual donation could be doubled thanks to your place of employment.
