-
Who do you currently drive for? Torgerson's Belgrade
-
What kind of truck do you drive? 2013 Kenworth T800 pulling lowboy
-
How long have you been driving? I have been driving on and off for 39 years. Mostly on, since 1983
-
What made you want to be a truck driver? I decided to be a driver when the company I worked for in 1983 needed a driver. I practiced driving in our new 1984 Kenworth, took the test and passed. After that, it seemed that wherever I ended up working, the company needed a driver "just for about a month" so they said.
-
What do you love about the Belgrade Christmas Convoy? I love the Christmas convoy because of all the people who show up. The Christmas spirit is overwhelming! To see a community come together is amazing. All us drivers are grateful that everyone appreciates our efforts to bring them a different way to celebrate Christmas.
-
What’s your favorite trucker song? Sayer Brown's version of "six days on the road"
-
What’s your favorite Christmas tradition? To anonymously be generous financially or by gift to people I do not know
-
Anything else you want to tell us about your trucking career? Truck driving is addictive in a way I can't explain. The tremendous responsibility of moving that much mass safely down the road is a great feeling of accomplishment, that those who don't drive, will never understand. My trucking career has been very educational in many ways. I have many times jokingly said, it seems like professional drivers are clairvoyant because we can tell what most cars are going to do before they know what they are going to do. We seem to share that on the CB :)

Thank you to all our Truck Village and Convoy Drivers!
